Obituary

Alice Beatrice "Sue" McIntosh
December 10, 1946 – December 5, 2025

Alice Beatrice "Sue" McIntosh, 78, of Fairview, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, just days before her 79th birthday. Sue was born on December 10, 1946, and lived a life centered on faith, family, and loving service to others.

Sue was a faithful and devoted member of Fairview Church of Christ, where she found strength, fellowship, and comfort in her walk with the Lord. Her Christian faith guided her daily life and was evident in her kindness, compassion, and selfless love for others.

She was a devoted wife to Leo T. McIntosh, a loving mother to Tom McIntosh (Carrie McIntosh) and Debbie Clevenger (Aaron Clevenger), and a proud, adoring grandmother to Mckenzie McIntosh, Jacob Clevenger (Ashley Clevenger), and Cody Clevenger (Meya Kotsko). Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them

Sue was a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and making her home a place of warmth, comfort, and love. She also dearly loved her dog, Lady, who brought her much companionship and happiness.

She is survived by her brother, Glenn Santee (Susan), and her sister, Diane Eddy (Mike), along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bob and Gerry Santee, and her brother, Harvey Santee.

Sue will be remembered for her gentle (sometimes spicy) spirit, unwavering faith, and the deep love she poured into her family. Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her devoted caretaker and dear friend, Betty Lou Morris, for her loving care and compassion. Special thanks are also extended to Gary and Judy Brownlee, and David and Cathy Haught for their friendship, support, and kindness. And to her sister-in-law and friend June Posthlethwait for their daily conversations

Sue's memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
