On Tuesday October 20, 2020 the Lord called home his angel Anturyne "Pookie"Chaney.  He passed away at Ruby/Hospice Hospital.  The sun rose on August 23, 1962 when he was born in Farimont W.V.  He was the son of the late and beloved Leonadus Chaney Jr. "Sunny".  He was the father of two deceased children; Shantae Cottingham and Anturyne Chaney Jr.  And a brother of the late Sharon "Weba"Gadson of Long Beach California.  The grandson of the late Leonadus and Viola Chaney and Grace and Cecil Simms of Fairmont W.V.  He is survived by his wife of 24 years Janet Chaney.  His mother Mary Chaney of Fairmont.  He was the father to five children and two step children.  Anthony "Boo" Cottingham, Lanessa and Daniel Sylva of Fairmont, Antonio "Pumpkin" Cottingham, Tremain "Peepers" Cottingham of Fairmont,  Taya and Aarron Myers of McCurdysville and Jessica Carter of Redwood W.V.  and Samantha Kelly of Elizabeth W.V. Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
