Ardella Jean Coleman of Fairmont transitioned from this life in the hours of Sunday, May 2, 2021 to rest in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ardella was born August 29, 1961, the daughter of Mary E. Coleman.

Ardella attended Miller School and Fairmont Senior High School and a graduate from OIC. She was previously employed by Aegis, Pre-Sort Plus, and various other jobs before her health started to decline.

Ardella was a Baptist by faith who early on attended Morning Star Baptist Church and more recently receiving spiritual edification and support from Pastor Staples and the church family of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Ardella loved to watch and listen to her son, Kevin, play drums and bass at church.

Ardella was preceded in death by her father, Melvin L. Coleman; her grandparents, Norman and Alma Holloway and Charles and Viola Coleman; several aunts and uncles, and cousins. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Marcus Devaugh Coleman and Kevin Rojan Claybrook; a grandson, Zion Reign Coleman; a brother, Ervin L. Coleman; and her mother, Mary E. Coleman, all of Fairmont; and a host of loving family and precious friends.
