Barbara Ellen Statler Knotts, 77, of Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 26, 1942, in Fairview, a daughter of the late John Sherman Statler and Charlotte Morris Statler.

She enjoyed reading, crosswords, magazines, games, television, and spending time with her granddaughters. Nobody enjoyed laughter as much as she did.

Barbara is survived by her son, James (Greg) Knotts, and wife Sheila, Marsha Wightman and husband Eric, and her beloved granddaughters Kandice Knotts and Melinna Wightman.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Norman Knotts and her siblings, Wilma Statler, Eva Gregor, Bud Statler, Babs Statler, Ruth Ann Pittinger, Jack Statler, Gene Statler, Billy Statler, John Statler, Ronnie Statler, Sue Statler, and Thelma Tennant.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Harker officiating.
