Betty Lou Eddy, 89, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born April 8, 1935, a daughter of Layman Harvey and Lola Dixon McIntosh.

Betty enjoyed baking cookies, doing ceramics, and spending time with her family. All of her grandchildren were her life. She attended Monumental United Methodist Church.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Susan Tennant and her husband Gary, and Lisa Ozie and her husband Patrick; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Tennant, Jason Tennant, David Eddy, Jeremy Emerick, Nicole (Gregory) Marsh, Peyton Ozie, and Dylan Ozie; great grandchildren, Logan, Grant, and Maci Tennant, Jakob Hunt, Brogan, Matthew, Sophia, and Holden Tennant, and Taylor, David, and Jordan Eddy; sons-in-law, James Emerick, and Larry Straight; great great grandson, Colton Carlson; sister, June Postlethwait; brother, Leo (Alice) McIntosh; and special friends, Doris Yost, Elaine McHenry, Maxine, and Jojo.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert "Bud" Eddy; children, David Eddy, Katrina Emerick, and Rhonda Doreen Straight; and siblings, Dorothy Eddy, Faye Harvey, Marion Wills, and Gary McIntosh.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
