Bobby Joe Yost, 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence in Bridgeport, WV. He was born in Fairview, WV on June 15, 1932, a son of the late Clifford O. & Rilla A. Yost.

Bobby Joe was retired from Loveridge Mine, Fairview. After retirement, he and his wife, Dorothy, spent the winters in Palmetto, FL. Over the years, he had many hobbies and enjoyed golf the most, playing over 40 years, making a hole-in-one at Palmetto Pines in 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Yost; his son, Rob Yost and his wife Marilesa of Bridgeport; a stepdaughter, Carole Bartholow of Fairmont; a sister, Ann Taylor of Meadows Place, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his sisters, Leola Cross and Doris Pagliaro, and an infant daughter, Norma Jo.

Private services were held at Domico Funeral Home – Currey Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview with Rev Randy Vincent officiating.
