Bonnie Sue Ammons, 62, of Enterprise, WV, passed away at her home surrounded by her family from her long battle with cancer.
Bonnie was the daughter of the late Wanda Lynn Jones and step father Richard Jones of Gypsy, WV, and father Kennith Edward and Charlotte Ashby of Monongah, WV.
Bonnie was a graduate of Fairview High School and was employed at Teleperformance for 16 years.
Bonnie was married to the love of her life, Gary Ammons, for 44 years. They have one son, Richard Ammons and wife Gabby Ammons of Rivesville, WV.
Bonnie loved spending time with her 2 grandchildren, Arianna and Deven Ammons. They were everything to her.
Bonnie enjoyed life. She loved the outdoors and watching the birds and she could name every one. She also loved spending time with her family. She also cared for her animals, her dog, Meka; and cats, Jack Missy B, Chiquita, Maggie, and Gracie.
Bonnie has 6 sisters and 1 brother, Barbara Ashby Kees and husband Darrell Kees of Monongah, WV, Joyce Ashby Cottrell of Wadsworth, OH, Kelly Lynn Landis and husband Tim of Gypsy, WV, Jennifer Ashby Fluharty of Fairmont, WV, Cynthia Ashby Watton and husband Bob Watton of Fairmont, WV, Becky Ashby of Monongah, WV, and Edward Ashby and wife Janie Ashby of Fairmont, WV; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Larry Harker and Sabrina Haught officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
