Carl Joseph Nicoletti, 88, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019. He was born in Chiefton, WV on January 5, 1931, son of the late Joseph Nicoletti and Philipena Rigabuto Nicoletti.

Carl was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School. He retired from Anthony Chevrolet as the Parts Manager and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He also was a referee for over 30 years.

Carl is survived by his sons, Michael Nicoletti and his wife Melissa of Fairmont, and Mark Nicoletti of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Alexis, Nina, and Sophia Nicoletti; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Harper; sister-in-law, Donna Jenkins of Fairmont; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Barbara Jenkins of Fairmont; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Jenkins Nicoletti; four brothers, John, Frank, Sam, and Pete Nicoletti; and two sisters, Isabel Glaze and Teresa Morgan.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Vigil rites will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairmont at 10:00 a.m. with Father Joseph Konikattil as celebrant. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmington where full military honors will be performed by the Marion County Honor Guard.
