Carl Eugene Pyles, 90, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was born in Farmington, WV on January 2, 1935, a son of the late Fred Pyles and Dorothy Brookover Pyles.

Carl was a truck driver for Westinghouse Electric. He attended Viola Church and enjoyed fishing, working outside, and watching football and wrestling.

Carl is survived by his wife, Sharon Pyles; children, Joseph W. Pyles, Jackie Mounts (John), and Mark Pyles; step children, B.J. Murray (Marlena), Scott Murray (Toni), and Tracy Murray Thompson (Brian); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Patricia Bland; daughter-in-law, Darlene Pyles; and son-in-law, Mike Getz.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his son, James Pyles; his daughter, Kathy Pyles Getz; siblings, Bernard Pyles, Lawrence Pyles, Joan Green, and Katherine Pyles; and a special brother-in-law, Jennings Green.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The service will be on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Krepps officiating.
