Carl Ray Sigley, Sr., of Rivesville, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was born June 15, 1946, a son of the late James W. and Genevieve Sigley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy Marie Sigley and three children, Carl Ray Sigley, Jr. and his wife Erica, Ronnie Lee Sigley and his wife Trena, and Sherry Marie Carpenter and her husband Joe. He is also survived by two brothers, James E. and Larry Sigley; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Jerry Sigley and one infant sister, Wilma Jean Sigley.

He was employed as a coal miner at Eastern Federal #1 in Grant Town, WV. He was on the Mine Rescue Team and a member of the Rivesville Fire Dept. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He was a member of True Knowledge Ministry in Mannington for more than 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by all his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Preston and Pastor Tim Shuttlesworth from Calvary Temple officiating.
