Charles "Bud" Henderson, 95, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025. He was born in Fairmont on December 23, 1929, a son of the late Rex and Willa Henderson.

Charles was a bus driver for Greyhound for 35 years. He attended the Sunrise Chapel. He owned the T&L Hotdogs in Shinnston for 25 years. He enjoyed going to East Side McDonalds and watching Gunsmoke.

Charles is survived by his wife Sue Henderson; stepchildren, Gary McDaniel, Jr. and his wife Christine of Covington, LA and Erika Smith and her husband Kyle of Fairmont; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Marsha, Christopher, Elizabeth, Jodie, Jessica, Anthony Josef "AJ" Linn and Laramie Linn; great grandchildren, Brayden O'Neil, who lives with Charles and Sue, and several others; brothers, Richard Henderson and David Henderson and his wife Barbara; sister-in-law, Anna Henderson; daughters-in-law, Jacqueline K. Henderson and Mary Lou Henderson; and special friends, Greg Linn, Jason Lacey, and Bobby Heater.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Betty Jean Henderson; children, Stephen Randolph Henderson, Keith Henderson, and Willa F. "Billie" Henderson; a brother, Rex Henderson; and a sister-in-law, Jo Henderson.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The funeral will be on Friday, May 9, 2025 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor John Snyder officiating.
