Charles Robert Jones, 70, formerly of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born in Fairmont on January 29, 1955, a son of the late Charlie Moore and Virginia Mae Jones.

Charles was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed art and fishing. His family and friends will always remember his sense of humor and ability to always crack a funny joke.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Charles Robert Jones II and Marcus Ullom; brothers, Houston Lee, John Alexander Lee, Evangelist Ron Lee, and Ernest Terry Freeman; sisters, Betty Ann Barnes, Gladys Miller, Mary Lee, Diane Lee, and Mattie Lee; grandchildren, Felicity Cheyenne Barr, Marcus Ullom, Laila Ullom, and Helena Ullom; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his Aunt and Uncle Mattie and Ernest Smith.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Evangelist Ron Lee officiating.
