Charles "Chuck" Norris, age 75, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024. Chuck left a lasting impression on everyone he met - not only because he shared a name with the famous actor but also because of his personality and generosity.

Chuck was married to his wife Valerie Norris for 50 years, and together they built a life centered around their children. He is survived by his three children: Kelly Urso (Chad) of Pittsburgh, PA, and their three children, Elizabeth, Lillian, and Philip; Kristina Norris of Nashville, TN, and her two children, Jameson and Violet; and Charles Norris III (Sammi) of Fairmont, WV, and his daughters Caitlyn and Aza.

Chuck was the beloved son of the late Charles J Norris, Bernice "Boots" Diamond and Philip "Pop" Diamond. He graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1967.

He is also survived by his two sisters: Leisa Lackey (Clint) of Charlotte, NC, and Diane Williams (George) of Cherry Hill, NJ. Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Norris, and is remembered fondly by Rick's widow, Mary Norris.

In his early career, Chuck worked at Lowry Organ in the mall and then owned several small businesses. Later, he found his calling as an over-the-road truck driver and recruiter, where he was known for his commitment to safety.

Chuck's proudest role was being "Papaw" to his six grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
