Charles "Chuck"
Warner, Jr.
Feb 14, 1944 — Jan 18, 2026
Charles E. "Chuck" Warner, Jr., age 81, known to many simply as Chuck, passed away leaving behind a legacy of creativity, service, and deep community connection. Chuck was a lifelong fixture in the local arts, media, and civic worlds, and his impact will be felt for generations. He was the son of Charles E. Warner and Ruby Dale Linn Warner and his grandparents, David and Lola Warner.
Chuck was the proud owner and operator of Warner Photography, a business he dedicated himself to for more than six decades, where his talent behind the lens captured not just images, but moments, milestones, and memories for countless families, organizations, and businesses.
A passionate aviator, Chuck was a private pilot for many years, capturing aerial photographs from the cockpit in days gone by –long before drones and modern technology made such work commonplace. In more recent years, he continued that pioneering spirit by becoming a drone pilot, incorporating aerial imagery into his photography business and once again staying at the forefront of his craft. His work reflected his keen eye, patience, and genuine care for people, qualities that defined both his professional and personal life.
Beyond photography, Chuck was a familiar and trusted voice on the radio. He was a radio personality on WMMN. As a radio personality, he brought warmth, humor, and authenticity to the airwaves, connecting with listeners in a way that felt personal and sincere. His love for music extended even further as a Saxophone player in his band, where he shared his passion for performance and collaboration, enriching the local music scene.
Chuck's dedication to his community was perhaps the most evident through his service in public office. He was elected two times as a City Councilman, a role he took seriously and carried out with integrity, accessibility, and a strong sense of responsibility. Chuck believed deeply in local government and worked tirelessly to represent his constituents and improve the community he loved.
Above all, Chuck will be remembered for his kindness, creativity, and willingness to serve others. Whether through his art, his voice, his music, or his public service, he gave freely of himself and left a lasting mark on those who knew him.
Chuck leaves behind his beloved wife, Frances Warner, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. He is also survived by family, friends, colleagues, and a community that is better for having had him as part of it. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
In keeping with Chuck's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements and interment have been entrusted to the capable hands of Domico Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
