Clara Joy Floyd Anderson, 84, of Bridgeport passed away Thursday, December 06, 2018.  She was born February 11, 1934 in McDowell County, daughter of the late William and Mae (Mallory) Bowman.

Clara was a former Paralegal for the Marion County Senior Center, and retired as a Dorm Advisor for Morrow Hall at Fairmont State College.  She attended Summit Park Baptist Church and was a life time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Clara is survived by two sons, Larry Floyd and wife Barbara of Barrackville, and Bill Floyd and wife Susan of Fairview; six grandchildren, Rick Floyd and wife Rachel, Leigh Ann Vingle, B.J. Floyd and wife Jen, Matthew Floyd and wife Tracey, Elizabeth Matheny and husband Stephen, and Eric Floyd; seven great grandchildren, Emma, Roselyn, Tyler, and Cailin Floyd, and Brandon, Paisley, and Kendall Matheny.  Clara is also survived by a companion, Guy Dean Lamkin; his three children, Chris Lamkin, Andrew Lamkin and wife Brenda, and Heather Murphy and husband Larry; and his six grandchildren, Kayla, Dean, Kevin, Dylon, Lucas, and Aaron.

In addition to her parents, Clara is preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Floyd; her second husband, Harold "Butter" Anderson; two sons, Terry Lee Floyd and Jeffery Allen Floyd; a brother, William Bowman II; a sister, Sybil Pyatt; and two great grandchildren, Owen Matheny and Addison Floyd.

There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate Clara's life at the Summit Park Baptist Church, 15 Monarch St. Clarksburg, WV 26301, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Rick Owens officiating.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
