Clementine "Ruth" Fancher of Bellview, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2023, at 91 years old. She was born in Fairmont, WV, on December 22, 1931 to Virgil Starkey and Rebecca (Cade) Starkey.

Ruth was a wonderful lady. She loved her late husband, Robert Jackson Fancher, for 65 years. She was proud to call Bellview, WV, "home." Though Ruth will be greatly missed by her family, they will always remember her as loving with a laugh as calming as a warm hug. Ruth was known for her playful side eye, the master of Jell-O salad, and creamed tomatoes. There's much sadness that comes with not being able to gather around her table to talk with her about life, but her legacy will live inside her family who know her as "the greatest grandma to ever grandma."

She is survived by her loving daughter, Ellen Nestor, and son-in-law, Johnny Nestor; grandchildren Rebecca (Josh) Phelps, Sarah (Bryan) Grubb, Leah (Tim) Smith; great-grandchildren Levi Grubb, Elisabeth Grubb, and Isaiah Phelps.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Rebecca Starkey; her beloved husband of 65 years Robert Jackson Fancher; siblings Elijah Kittle, John Kittle, Earl Starkey, James Kittle, Mary Kittle, and Lawrence Kittle.

The family would like to thank Diana Garrison and the staff at Fairmont Rehab as well as Heather Fitzwater and the staff of Fitzwater's Assisted Living.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jackie Chambers officiating.
