Colby Valen
Besedich
Feb 14, 1993 — Jan 29, 2024
On January 29, 2024, our dear loved one, Colby Valen Besedich's life was cut tragically short. Colby's untimely passing will forever change our family as did his blessed birth on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1993. Colby was indeed a very special delivery Valentine to his devoted parents Michael J Besedich and Andrea (Sheldon) Raber. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his precious children, Kaden and Dawson Besedich who were the very center of his world; his loving brothers, Bregan (Chesney) Besedich and Lane Raber; his beloved uncle and aunts; Michael St Clair and his companion, Robin Long, Debbie (Russell) Cook, Christina (Scott) Mohr, Holly (Robert) Casto, Joyce (Thomas) Cale, Erica (Matt) Besedich , Chookie (Daniel) Besedich and many, many dear cousins who were so very special to him.
Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents John and Patricia St Clair, Carl and Juanita Raber. Paternal grandparents, Daniel Sr. and Gloria Jean Besedich and uncles; Daniel W. Besedich and Matt W. Besedich.
Colby was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School where he lettered in varsity basketball, football and track. He had a passion for four-wheeled adventures and enjoyed anytime he could be outdoors with his many friends and family.
Colby was a long-haul truck driver by trade and loved getting to see our beautiful country. Everywhere Colby traveled, he made sure the rest of the family rode along on his many journeys through the photos and stories he shared with us along the way.
Colby accepted Christ as his Savior and was a baptized member of the Whitehall Church of Christ. He believed in and loved the Lord with all his heart, so we trust that our merciful, Heavenly Father will embrace Colby in paradise.
We, his family, encourage all who knew and loved Colby to remember him for the sweet love he gave us all and for the many moments of joy he brought into our lives. We want his life defined by his good heart, his strong spirit and the happiness he brought to so many. Let us remember all his beautiful smiles, all the laughter we shared together, his warm embrace, the moments of genuine affection and connection he shared with everyone he loved in his own special way. Although Colby's journey on this earth was tragically cut short, his story does not end. It will live on and continue through each of us, always to be remembered, always to be loved and cherished, always to be treasured in our memories.
Rest in sweet peace, dearest ColBoy, until we meet again on that bright shore.
