Constance "Connie" J. Ganaway, 65, of Fairmont, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She was born January 27, 1955 in Fairmont, WV.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, James S. Jackson, Jr.; her husband, Louis Ganaway who parted this life on September 2015; a great aunt, Grace Powell; and great uncle, Henry Steptoe.

Constance enjoyed sewing, cooking, singing, dancing, and traveling. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She retired from the Marion County Clerk's Office.

She leaves behind to mourn her memory, daughter, Jacqueline A. Ganaway of Fairmont; son, Anthony L. Ganaway of Pennsylvania; one sister, Elsie (Bennie) Kyle of Fairmont; stepsons, Steven Howton and Avery Ganaway, both of Fort Wayne, IN; three brothers, Carlos Jackson of Indiana, Marcus Jackson of Maryland, and Daniel Sumlin of Fairmont; half brother, Clieve Junior Miller of Fairmont; two aunts, Leatrice Davis of Washington and Edna M. Thomas of California; sister-in-law, Deborah Jackson; and great uncle Harry Steptoe of Farmington; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Junius Lewis of Morgantown officiating.
