David (Dave) Dwayne Gower, age 41, Fairmont WV previously Fairfield OH, passed away on Sunday, August 08, 2021. A special thank you goes to the staff at Rolling Meadows, in Waynesburg PA, where he resided for the final 2 years of his life.

Born in Fairview, WV on August 12, 1979, he was the son of Sheila Sine and the late Harvey D Gower.

Dave's greatest joy in life was being an avid Ham Radio enthusiast under the call sign KD8OFL where he made many life-long friends. He was also an IT Professional at Shermantic Computer Service for many years in Fairmont, WV and will forever be known affectionately as "Big Dave".

Dave is survived by mother, Sheila Sine and Step-Father Ben Sine, his brother Benny Sine of Fairview, his grandparents Dick & Virginia Gower of Grant Town, and his aunts and uncles, Arley (Lonnie) Simmons, Louis Simmons, Douglas Gower, and Connie Seese.

Dave is proceeded in death by his dear grand-parents, Arley & Evelyn Simmons whom he spent most of his childhood years with. Also preceding him in death are many aunts, uncles and cousins.
