David Lee Kelly, 65, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was born in Quantico, VA on August 9, 1955, the son of the late Charles "Chuck" Kelly and Lessie Ann McNece Kelly.

David taught truck driving at the Diesel Institute of America and drove trucks for Matlack and Superior Carriers. He built custom motorcycles and rode motorcycles every day that it was above 50 degrees and sunny. He also built stages for Mountain State Productions, and met many famous musicians. He was also an avid WVU Mountaineers fan. He was loved by all who knew him.

David is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Kelly; his children, David "DJ" Kelly and his wife Jodi and Misty Osborne; his step children, Ti Ramey and Kerryjo, Anthony Ramey and Melody Morgan, Tingle and Pat Cook, October Louise Lang and John Jacobin, and John Francis Lang; grandchildren, Tanner Kelly, Cameron Kelly, Hunter Osborne, Tyler Osborne, Dylan Osborne, Allison Schmidt and Nathan Schmidt, Hayla Ramey, Miranda Ramey, Chloe Lang, Wyatt Cook, Silas Cook, and Maryann Ramey; and great grandchildren, Oliver Schmidt, Andrew Schmidt, and Anthony Ramey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to diabetes research organizations, such as the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
