Obituary

David Tyrone Miles, born March 22, 1978, departed this life of September 3, 2021.

David is survived by his five children, Madisen, Khori, Dae'Tilina, Soloman, and Able Miles; his mother, Michelle Miles; his father, Larry Miles, Sr. and step-mother Jewel Miles; two brothers, Larry Miles, Jr. and Brian (Alexis) Miles; and two step-sisters, Micheal Washington and Janell (Wayne) Hunte. He is also survived by his grandfather, Bennie Lee Horton, Sr. (Gloria) and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School, Class of 1996, and was a part of the State Championship Basketball Team. He was also an avid football player and track athlete. He loved sports, his favorite college team was Alabama "ROLL TIDE." David had an amazing voice and he loved to sing an draw. He debuted his artwork with a show titled "Three Smooth Stones" in Bristol, VA. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Although he had a love for art, his all time favorite thing to do was cutting hair. He was a Master Barber and was employed at True Colors Barber Shop in Bristol, VA.

David was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Elder Mary E. Turner and Annie Lee "Madear" Ingram; aunts, Benita D. Kelly, Darilynn Scales; uncles, Ronald E. Turner, Jr. and Bennie Lee "Benji" Horton, Jr.; and great uncle, George Grant.

The family will receive friends at Agape Life Ministries, 410 Morgantown Avenue, Fairmont, WV, on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the church on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com. All other gifts, memorials, and cards may be sent to Larry Miles, Sr. 701 East Park Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554.
