Dennis K. Williams, 66, of Swisher Hill passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 28 ^th . He was born December 28 ^th , 1954 to Hank and Ruth Morris of Baxter, who gave him life. As a child, he was adopted by Gearl and Christine Williams of Daybrook, who gave him love.

Dennis is survived by the love of his life and wife, Sherry Williams; their children, Leslie, Jamie, Allen, CJ, and Judd; grandchildren, Faith, Dominick, Brayden, and Madalyn. Also surviving are five brothers, Donald (Valerie) Williams of Kentucky, Mark (Tracy) Thompson of Clarksburg, Jon (Paulette) Morris of Bellview, Robert (Marlene) Morris of Rivesville, and Jerry Coffman of Iowa; eight sisters, Melanie (Jack) Carpenter of Fairmont, Lois Edge of South Carolina, Cheryl (Dale) Gallagher of Fairview, Susan (Pete) Michael of Fairview, Kim (Scott) Brumage of Daybrook, Regina (Eston) Bonner of Berkley Springs, Emily (Arvid) Sundquist of Connecticut, Linda Lids of Washington state; numerous nieces and nephews, and his best buddy, Ziggy.

Preceding him in death are four siblings, Jack, David, Judy, and William.

Dennis proudly served in the United States Army as a Sergeant with the combat engineers. He loved to read, make people laugh, trips to the beach, and being with those he loved.

In keeping with his wishes, his body will be donated to West Virginia Human Gift Registry and there will be no funeral services.

The family would like to thank the VA Hospital, Amedisys Hospice, and all of the wonderful friends we've met through his journey.
