Dominic "Junior" Bacco Jr., 85, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday, January 08, 2022.   He was born in Grant Town on June 01, 1936, son of the late Dominic Sr. and Jenny Bacco.

Junior was Catholic by faith; he was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fairmont.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Marian Council 942 and Marian Assembly 2114 where he served as the Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator, WV State Council Office elected, State Deputy, District Master of 4 ^th Degree, and Catering Manager for Marian Enterprise.  Junior also was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bocce League and enjoyed playing Pinochle.  He was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the U.S. Airforce.

Junior is survived by his wife, Margie Bacco of Fairmont; two sons, Ronald Bacco and wife Stephanie of Myrtle Beach and Michael Bacco and wife Amanda of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Samantha Jo Audia and husband Ryan, Christina Marie Bacco, Brandon Scott Bacco and wife Brittney, and Amber Marie Thompson and husband Chris; and six great grandchildren, Emily Thompson, Emerson Bacco, Tatum Yanego, Luna Audia, Layla Audia, and Lily Audia.

In addition to his parents, Junior is preceded in death by three brothers, Sam, Joseph, and James Bacco.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont, on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Vigil rites will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. with Father Vincent Joseph. Marian Council Third Degree Wednesday, January 12, 2022 6:30 p.m., Marian Assembly Fourth Degree Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 6:50 p.m. Honor Guards are requested to be present at 5:30 p.m. Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1660 Mary Lou Retton Dr. Fairmont, on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Vincent Joseph as celebrant.
