Donna Jean
Lampkin
Dec 10, 1962 — Mar 6, 2026
Donna Jean Lampkin, of Fairmont, West Virginia, was born December 10, 1962, and passed away on March 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer that began in 2017.
Donna was preceded in death by her adopted parents, George Oscar and Edna Arnold Lampkin, and her beloved grandmother, Earlene Jones.
She is survived by her biological mother, Shirley Ann Shepherd of Robinson Run, West Virginia; her sister, Vivian Rhone of Dayton, Ohio; her son, Kevin Lampkin of Martinsburg, West Virginia; and her cherished grandchildren Kiara Lampkin and Nathan Lampkin of Martinsburg, West Virginia. She is also survived by her uncle and aunt Robert and Dorothy Merchant of Converse, Texas; her lifelong friend and devoted caregiver, Donna Myers of Fairmont, West Virginia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Donna fought cancer with quiet strength and determination for nine years. Even during her illness, she continued to give to others and hold firmly to her faith. Her resilience and perseverance were a testament to her strong spirit.
She was known for her generous heart and caring nature. Donna enjoyed cooking, bowling, fishing and roller skating, but what she loved most was caring for others, especially the elderly. Helping people brought her joy, and she touched many lives through her kindness and compassion.
Donna was a faithful member of Agape Life Ministries, where she found strength, fellowship, and spiritual family. She was very thankful for Pastor Leo and Lady Regina Riley and the entire church congregation. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she proudly proclaimed that God was her Savior.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Donna's love, faith, and giving spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
