Rhonda Doreen Straight, 57, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021. She was born January 25, 1964 in Fairmont, the daughter of Betty Eddy and the late Delbert "Bud" Eddy.

Doreen graduated from Fairmont State University in 1985 and worked as a Registered Nurse for Fairmont General, Mon General, Morgantown Internal Medicine, and most recently for Dr. Alappat. She was an accomplished bowler and enjoyed boating and baking.

In addition to her mother, Betty Eddy, Doreen is survived by her husband, Lawrence Lee Straight; daughter, Kendra Payton and her husband Thomas; grandchildren, Skyler Payton and Kealey Payton; her sisters, Katrina Emerick and her husband Jim, Susan Tennant and her husband Gary, and Lisa Ozie and her husband Patrick; a niece and several nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; her River Family and her Copperhouse Family.

In addition to her father, Doreen was preceded in death by her brother, David Eddy.
