Doris Jane Mullens, 83, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019.  She was born February 12, 1935 in Richwood, daughter of the late Arthur and Mintie Strader.

Doris was a member of the Highland Ave. United Methodist Church.  She retired from Delaware Sewing Center in Dover, DE.

Doris is survived by seven children, Linda Jones and husband Donnie of Fairmont, Steve Mullens and wife Debbie of Richwood, Ed Mullens and wife Crystal of Lebanon, VA, Penny McGuckin of Fairmont, Ellen Bays and husband Dave of Summersville, Charles Mullens and wife Sally of Richwood, and Sarah Woodell of Craigsville; nineteen grandchildren, J.R., Mario, Melanie, Michelle, Melissa, Marie, Matt, Jeremy, Shannon, Eddie, David, Stephanie, Tyler, Rebecca, Bonnie, Charles Jr., Jessica, Justin, Brent, and Brother.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by three children, Sandy Brown, David Mullens, and Brenda Mullens; a companion, Charles Sapp; a brother, Jack Strader; and a granddaughter, Geri Boyles.

The family would like to give special thanks to the hospice care for the loving care they provided.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from Noon until 1:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Micah Blanks and Pastor Bill Stutler officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fairmont.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
