Dorothy Louise Eddy, 87, of Monumental, passed away on Friday, February 01, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on May 23, 1931 in Kitzmiller, WV, daughter of the late Lola Dixon McIntosh.

Dorothy was Methodist by faith. She loved to read, do ceramics, and enjoyed camping with her husband.  She was retired from Westinghouse/ North American Phillips, as a relief operator.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Michael Eddy and wife Diana of Monumental; a grandson, Chris Eddy; a granddaughter, Hannah Eddy and boyfriend Cort Bennett; a brother, Leo McIntosh and wife Sue; two sisters, Betty Eddy and June Postlethwait; a brother- in-law, Bernard Eddy and wife Betty; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Ancil "Eugene" Eddy; a brother, Gary George McIntosh; two sisters, Faye Harvey and Marion Wills; and two brothers-in-law, Delbert "Bud" Eddy and Glen Postlethwait.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, Curry Chapel 100 Grant Street Fairview, on Monday, February 04 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  and on Tuesday, February 05 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
