Dorothy Virginia Mays, 90, of Fairmont, died October 22, 2019 at the Lynn Haven Personal Care Home. Dorothy was born December 29, 1928, daughter of the late Wade Moats and Bertha Sisler Moats, and stepmother, Bessie Moats.

Surviving are three children, Sue Smeal of Indiana, PA., Gary Mays & wife Eva of Arlington, TX., & Marvin Mays Jr. & wife Pam of VA.; seven grandchildren, Peggy Satterfield, John Satterfield, Jr., Kevin Larrabee, Marvin Mays III, Raymond Mays, Robert Mays, and James Mays; 9 great grandchildren, & a brother Billy Moats of , Waynesburg, PA.

In addition to her parents Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Mays Sr., two brothers Richard Mays, & Dorsey Moats, & a close friend Raymond Collins.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont, Sunday Oct. 27, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm, & Monday Oct. 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 am. The funeral service will be Monday in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James A. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
