Edith Louise Foley Darrah, 91, of Fairview, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born in Fairview, WV on March 13, 1934, a daughter of the late Elza and Nellie Foley of Fairview.

Edith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was her greatest gift and passion. Christian by faith, she devoted her efforts to following a life through service to her church and community. Edith was an avid gardener and quilter, skills that she shared with family and friends to enrich their lives.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, WG Darrah, Jr.; her parents, Nellie and Elza Foley; brother, William P. Foley.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Darrah (Susie) of Farmington, Doug Darrah (Debbie) of Fairview, and Tim Darrah (Amy) of Fairview; grandchildren, Carolyn Darrah, Diana Summers (Morgan), Miranda Clark (Brian), D.J. Darrah, Jennifer Bland (Cody), David Darrah, and Megan Darrah; twelve great grandchildren; her loving sisters, A. Sue Ray of Ripley, WV and Lula Mae Robinson of McDonald, PA; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Fairview Church of Christ in Fairview, WV on Friday, December 26, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The service will be at the church on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Shuman Cemetery, Miracle Run Road in Fairview, WV.
