On February 28, 2021, Elizabeth Jean Alvaro (Pigott) went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

Elizabeth was born August 07, 1932 to parents Ruth Pigott (Martin), and Ray Pigott of Farmington, WV.  She attended Farmington High School and graduated in 1952.  She lived for most of her life with family in Fairmont, WV, before moving to Oakland, MD. With her daughter for the last ten years of her life.  Elizabeth took pleasure in the hobbies that she had, the friends that would visit, and her spiritual belief.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Ray Pigott; a daughter, Barbara Alvaro; her husband, Larry Alvaro; a sister, June Messana; and many in-laws and nephews and nieces.

She is survived by a daughter, Frances Callis (Alvaro) of Oakland, MD., Linda VanGilder (Alvaro) and husband Martin of Fairmont, WV., sister Donna Nuzum (Pigott) of Locust Grove, VA., Carol Gauzd (Piggot) and husband Joseph of Mannington, WV, and grandsons Nicholas Callis of Oakland, MD., Matthew Vangilder and wife Bethany of Fairmont, WV., Martin (J.C) VanGilder and wife Julie of Fairmont, WV.
