Elvida Madeline Jacquez, 92, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was born in Fairmont on September 21, 1926, daughter of the late Angelo and Teresa Trotta.

Elvida retired from Westinghouse – North American Phillips. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to the Marion County VFW and Knights of Columbus. She was also an avid fan of the Mountaineers, Pirates, and Steelers.

Elvida is survived by her husband, Angelo Jacquez; her sons, Mark A. Jacquez and his fiancée Yvette Schaeffer and two sons Jackson and Spencer of Silver Springs, MD, and Tom Jacquez and his wife Diana of Clarksburg; her nephew, Albert J. Trotta, and Julius Jacquez and his wife Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elvida was preceded in death by her siblings, Rachel, Helen, Yolanda, Josephine, Mary, Mickey, Albert, Henry, and A.J.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. will Deacon Louis Belldina officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fairmont with Father Vincent Joseph as celebrant.
