Ethel Mae Goodwin, 72, of Monongah, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. She was born in Oakhill, WV on September 22, 1949, the daughter of the late Ralph James Mick and Kathryn Irene Schiffera Mick.

Ethel was a member of the Boothsville Baptist Church and was an avid reader of the Bible. She retired from United Hospital Center.

Ethel is survived by her children, B.J. Goodwin and his wife Nicole, and Kathryn Jean "Kathy" Miller and her husband Adam; grandchildren, Jack, Violet, Henry, and Elouise Goodwin and Emma Miller; a brother, Randy Mick and his wife Donna; a niece Michelle Payton and her husband Ray; a nephew, Jon Mick and his wife Heather; and several great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Greg "Cowboy" Goodwin; and a grandson, James Miller.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Orville Wright officiating.
