Evon "Bum" Jane Andrews, 62, of Fairmont and by choice wherever that road lead, took her rest in power Monday, August 15, 2022. She was born in Fairmont, WV on August 26, 1959, the youngest child of Charles and Delores Evans.

Evon loved the shade purple and butterflies. She was Baptist by faith and was strong in her faith. Graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1977 and went on to Fairmont State University, majoring in business management. She enjoyed all sports, but had a love for softball with a major league arm from the outfield. She loved being outside walking or traveling through the states. Her love for who and what she loved were unmatched. She cared with one emotion … EMPATHY. She only could LOVE YOU MORE!!!

Evon is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Kenneth Andrews; son, Darrell "Dee" Stubbs and his wife Tammy of Fairmont; grandchildren, Malik Stubbs, Dyrelle Jones, Karia Wilson, Xavian Stubbs, and NaVaughn Jones; three great grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Evans and his wife Tiffany; sisters, Charlena Jones and her husband Jimmy, Beverly Stubbs and her husband Robert, and Vikki Johnson, all of Fairmont; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Evon was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Joseph Garrett, and Henry and Estelle Wooten; a brother, Charles Evans, Jr. and his wife Rose Evans; and a sister, Hollis Cook.

The family will receive friends at Morning Star Baptist Church on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral will follow on Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church at 12:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com .
