Ewing A. (Johnny) Johnson was born February 4 ^th 1929 in Fairmont WV and passed peacefully with family by his side June 5 ^th 2022. He was a generous friend to everyone and never met an animal that he didn't like and didn't like him. Johnny was a dreamer that came up with smart solutions to solve many problems. He most recently lived in Monongah WV although during his life he lived across the US and was most proud of his time working on the facilities at Cape Canaveral. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Joye Johnson, and survived by his daughters and son in laws, Mrs. Julie (Richard) Miller of Lane KS and Mrs. Janet (Ken) Pitts of Thomaston GA, sister Lucille Johnson of Lane KS and 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Johnny's interment will be at the National Cemetery in Grafton WV. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Marion County Humane Society in Fairmont, WV, PO Box 905 Fairmont, WV 26554. Arrangements are under the care of Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont.
