Frances Maloney Rosi, 90, of Fairmont WV, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019. She was born in Newburg WV, on August 09, 1929, daughter of late Leonard B. Davis, and Irene Maloney Davis.
Dr. Frances Rosi was a Professor at Fairmont State College where she taught for many years. She was very active in church activities; she was also an organist and led the choir for many years at St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed her winters in Florida for seventeen years.
Frances is survived by her husband Anthony Rosi of Fairmont; two sons, Michael F. Maloney of Montrose VA; Marc A. Maloney and Wife Diane of Woodbridge, VA; and two step-children Steven A Rosi of Owensboro KY: and Stephanie Rosi Dillon, and husband Mark of Raleigh NC. Frances had four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nieces, and 2 nephews.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her brother James L. Davis; and sister Anna Katheryn Davis.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue, in Fairmont, on Tuesday November 12, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with vigil services being held at Domico Funeral Home at 6:30 p.m. with Deacon Lou Belldina. A Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1660 Mary Lou Retton Drive, Fairmont WV with Father Vincent Joseph as celebrant. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown. Online condolences may be sent to family at www.domicofh.com.
