Frank Joseph Deli, 96, formerly of Kellytown, WV, peacefully went to his eternal home on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
He was born in Pennsylvania on May 22, 1927, a son of the late Alex and Beatrice Deli. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosa Barta Deli, who was his best friend and soul mate. They were married for 62 years. Also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two sisters-in-law: Emma Knight and Irene D'Amico along with numerous nephews and nieces.
Frank proudly served in the Army prior to attending Duquesne University. He graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy on June 5, 1955. He spent most of his career as a pharmacist at Mason's Pharmacy in Fairmont and also worked for several other retail pharmacies during the final years of his career. He always greeted his customers with a smile and frequently had a good joke to share to make them smile. He was a social butterfly and loved life.
He spent his final years living at Wishing Well Senior Living Community in Fairmont which during this time he was the president of the resident council.
Frank loved the Lord, his family, his career, church and community. He attended New Life Ministries on Manley Chapel Road in Fairmont. He served his church community in many ways and sang beautifully in choirs, weddings and other events for many years.
The family would like to thank Doris Cain, a beloved friend of Frank's, for all the support and love she displayed to him throughout the years and in his final days. The family would also like to thank the staff at Wishing Well for their loving care throughout the years.
Family will receive friends at the Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave, Fairmont, WV on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Services begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held immediately following at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
