Frank Junior Scritchfield, 83, of Fairview, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born on November 5, 1935, son of the late David Frank Mildred Bell Scritchfield.

Frank retired from Consolidated Coal Loveridge Mine in 2001. He enjoyed fishing and working on lawnmowers.

Frank is survived by his wife, Helen Ruth Scritchfield; children, Frank David Scritchfield and his wife Brenda of Farmington, Charles Joseph Scritchfield and his wife Susie of Rivesville, Margie Cartwright and her husband Joseph of Monongah, and Sandra Hewitt and her husband Tom of Pleasant Hills; step children, Cynthia Johnson, and Jeff Starkey; grandchildren, Frank David, Jr., Jeremiah, Carl, Summer, Derrick, Christopher, Kendra, Stephanie, Sarah, Joey, Samuel, Angela, Virginia, Justin, Vicki, Christopher D., Keyon, Jalen, Zyaja, Octavia, Olivia, Jordan, Maya, and Mark; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Brenda Jackson of Mannington.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his siblings, Lynn Scritchfield, Robert Scritchfield, John Scritchfield, Margaret Scritchfield, and Bill Scritchfield.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Toothman, Jr. officiating. Interment will be held at Scritchfield Cemetery on Tower Hill in Monongah where full military rites will be performed by the Marion County Honor Guard.
