George Edward Mullenax, Sr., 82, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born in Fairmont on June 24, 1940, a son of the late Troy Pete Mullenax and Margaret Marie Sabo Mullenax.

George enjoyed watching sports and eating chocolate cake.

George is survived by his children, George Mullenax, Jr. and Patricia Mullenax (Joel Rowe); a grandson, Terry Rucker of Monongah, WV; a brother, Kelly Mullenax and his wife Judy of Lorain, OH; sisters, Eloise Sigley of Rivesville, WV, Patty Gorbey of Lorain, OH, and Ruth Collier of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife Mary Mullenax; and his brothers and sisters.
