Georgia Paulette Yates, 79, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022.  She was born October 19, 1942 in Moundsville, WV, daughter of the late George and Elsie Siburt.

Georgia was a proud owner of many birds.  She was an avid reader; she especially loved Westerns and Romance Novels.  Georgia enjoyed New Years Eve and 4 ^th of July Parties.  She babysat for many families around Fairmont.

Georgia is survived by her husband, Robert Yates of Fairmont; three brothers, Joseph Siburt and wife Wanda of Perryopolis, Rodney Siburt and wife Carolyn of Fairmont, and Texan Siburt and wife Dena of Fairmont; a sister, Kathy Yates and husband David of Fairmont; two brothers-in-law, Bill Yates and wife Debbie of Mississippi and Larry Yates and wife Doris of Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Georgia is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Conner and wife Vera; a sister, Lillian Rial and husband Robert; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Wilda Yates; and three brothers-in-law, Charles, Jimmy, and Gary Yates.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the employees at Fairmont Health and Rehab for caring for Georgia.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev.
