Gwendolyn Lea Konya, 71 of Fairmont, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. She was born in Grant Town on April 10, 1947, daughter of the late Jesse King and Ethel Mayfield King.

Gwendolyn enjoyed photography, cooking, and baking.

Gwendolyn is survived by her husband, Steve Konya; and her children, Christina Zukowsky and her husband Frank of Fairmont, and Steve Konya II and his partner Stephanie Dulaney.

In addition to her parents, Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Wendell King and Weldon "Willie" King.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Monday, January 28. 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until Noon. The funeral service will be on Monday at the funeral home at Noon with Rev. Larry Harker officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
