Helen "Pete" Haught formerly of Fairview passed away February 20 ^th at Madison Center in Morgantown where she had been a resident for several years.  She was born in Fairview on September 5, 1925.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon.

She is survived by a brother, Robert Hunter of Vero Beach, FL; a son, Gary Haught of Kingwood, TX; three granddaughters, Dr. Courtney Haught of Winter Park, FL, Emily Haught of Ringgold, GA, and Dr. Cecily Haught of Suwanee, GA; and four great grandchildren.

Helen was born and raised near Fairview where she worked as a postal clerk, grocery clerk, and later as a teacher in the Fairview Middle School until her retirement.  She has many friends and relatives in the area and will be sorely missed.

Services will be held at Domico Funeral Home - Curry Chapel in Fairview with viewing from 6-8 PM on Monday, Feb. 24 ^th and the funeral at 2 PM on Feb. 25 ^th with interment at Haught Cemetery to follow.  Family requests donations to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
