Henry Duane Cowart, 75, of Barrackville passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Veterans Nursing Home in Clarksburg.  He was born September 13, 1943 in Marion County, son of the late Henry Owen and Velora Harris Cowart.

Henry was a veteran of the United States Navy.  He enjoyed farming, fishing, and driving truck.

Henry is survived by four children; Kathy Toussant, Stephanie Garrison and husband Kevin, Eva Roberts, and Henry Cowart Jr. and wife Alicta; four sisters, Alma Allen, Carol Ensminger and husband Leonard, Joyce Peck and husband Perry, and Nancy Willis and husband Larry; 16 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Henry was preceded in death by his Ex-wife, Kathlyn Cowart Hill; his grandparents; and a brother, Warren Cowart.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedysis Hospice care, and the Veteran Nursing home for the great care and love that they gave to Henry.
