James Larry Riggi "Jimmy" passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 69 years old. Jimmy passed peacefully at home with his family and very special care giver after more than seven years of extended illness.

A member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Jimmy is survived by his wife, Denise, two daughters, Erin and Adrienne, and four grandchildren, Patterson, Tristan, Gino, and Evie. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Riggi and dedicated loving sister Marilyn Riggi.

Jimmy was proceeded in death by his parents Dominick and Amelia Riggi.

Jimmy was born on July 13, 1951, in Fairmont, WV. He graduated from Fairmont State with an Education degree in Industrial Arts. Jimmy never formally taught but lived the life of a true educator and artisan. Well respected in his community and family, Jimmy was a visionary that shared his knowledge with anyone who needed guidance.  His passion extended from designing, planning, and constructing homes, to building specialty furniture items.

Jimmy embraced his God given talent as evident by the many homes he built in the area and the endless wood furniture items he made for those he loved.  His true genuine love for his family was never failing. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather everyday of his life and he will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity in Jimmy's name.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairmont at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jojan Joseph as celebrant.
