Janice Louise Burge, 73, of Rivesville, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021. She was born March 14, 1948, the daughter of the late William Hawkins and Thelma Fresco Collins.

Janice graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1966. She was employed by Ray's Jewelry, Hills Department Store, Westinghouse, Philips Lighting, the FBI Center, and Aegis Communications. She was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed crochet and crafts. Janice was a loving mother and devoted wife.

Janice is survived by her husband, David Burge; children, David Burge, Jr. and Davina Burge-Crandall and her husband William Joe Crandall; grandchildren, Anthony Scott Burge and Makenze Williams and her fiancée Steven Carder; great grandson, Brydan Burge; sister, Gloria Garrison; brothers-in-law, William Burge and Robert Burge; sister-in-law, Shirley Heston; cousin, Ann Stottlemire; an uncle, Ermine Lowther and wife Elouise; an aunt, Rose Angeline; nephews, John Garrison and Greg Garrison and his wife Debbie; and friends, Mickey Robinson, Judy Hickman, Barbara McDonald, Peggy Musgrove, and Stephanie Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her stepfather, Arthur Collins; grandson, Johnathan David Williams; brothers-in-law, James Burge and John Junior Garrison; sisters-in-law, Opal Cain; mother-in-law, Thelma Burge; and a great aunt, Betty Henderson.

The family will receive friends at Damico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Zinn officiating.
