Janice M. Strand, 86, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was born on October 8, 1938, a daughter of the late Peter J. and Elizabeth Stetar.

Janice enjoyed working on the farm and time with her family. She retired from the Marion County Board of Education where she worked many years as a Bus Driver and later in the maintenance department.

Janice is survived by her two sons, Tim Strand and Donnie Strand, and his wife Terri. She also had several grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Conrad Strand, who passed away March 15, 2011. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The service will be at the funeral home on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Rich Buonaiuto officiating.
