Janice “Sue” Fluharty, 86, of Fairview, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 29, 2026. Janice passed away at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born July 1, 1939 in Fairview, WV. The daughter of Berle and Helen Romaine Tennant, Janice was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Janice spent her free time surrounded by her family, crocheting, and watching her great grandkids play in the yard. She enjoyed Sunday picnics with her family and gathering in the backyard or on the back porch with her sisters every evening. Her family was the center of her world. She leaves behind countless memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of 67 years; her daughter, Shelly and son-in-law, Buck Toothman; her sister, Judy Pethtel; brothers, Rick (Terri) Tennant and Randall Tennant; grandchildren, Cassidy Toothman (Aaron Skinner), and Tanner (Logan) Rose; four great grandchildren, Hadley Harker, Hudson and Stetson Rose, and Audrey Skinner; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Berle and Helen Romaine; her sister, Betty Lou Fluharty; and her beloved twins, Mark Allan and Michael Berle Fluharty; and brother-in-law, Donald Ray Pethtel.

Janice will be remembered for her loving heart, the laughter and memories she created with those she loved most.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. She will lie in state at Haught Chapel Church, 3374 Crossroads Road in Fairview, on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The service will be at the church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Linda Friend officiating.
