Jason Michael Carder, 46, of Monongah, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024. He was born in Fairmont on June 7, 1977, a son of Jeffrey and Denene Carder.

Jason was previously employed by WVU Medicine in Linen Services. He enjoyed video games, trains, drones, and attending car shows. He was a member of Jewel City Church.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his sisters, Melissa Carnes and her husband Shawn of Mannington, and Amanda Carder of Morgantown; his niece, Serena Carnes; his nephews, Alex and Shawn Carnes; and paternal grandmother, Janice Carder.

Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Velma and Paul Riegel; and paternal grandfather, Jim Carder.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating.
