Jean Delores Ammons, 94, of Fairview passed away Friday, November 06, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.  Jean was born in Fairview on February 15, 1926, daughter of the late Enos and Sarah Tennant Wilson.

Jean was a member of Haughts Chapel United Methodist Church.  She retired from Owens Illinois, and was a homemaker for her family.

Jean is survived by four children, Linda Kendall and husband Robert of Morgantown, Lynne Williams of Morgantown, Kim Ammons and wife Monette of Fairview, and Kevin Ammons and wife Marla of Fairview;  six grandchildren, Alissa Kendall Russell and husband Philip, Andrew Wiliams, Bethany Williams Cage and husband Aaron II, Ashley Ammons Sabatelli, Erin Ammons Henkins and husband Chad, and Jason Ammons and wife Brandi; step-grandchild Tyler Menas and wife Mariah; sixteen great grandchildren, Sarah, Adam, and Ethan Russell, Jenna, Alaina, and Gabriella Jean Cage, Santino, Lucia, Ella, and Marco Sabatelli, Dylan and Chase Henkins, Josalyn, Brynlee, Braylee, and Jessa Ammons; three step great grandchildren Scarlet, Kaiser, and Rosalie Jean Menas; and a special niece, Ronda Retton.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Irno Ammons; three brothers, Chester, Marvin, and Denzil Wilson; five sisters, Mary Brock, Pearl Rogers, Ary White, Tencil Hammack, and Nola Parrish; and a son-in-law, Randall Williams.
