Jean Viglianco passed away on August 29, 2024. She was born July 16, 1932 in Monongah to Helen and Franz Nagel. Phil Viglianco, her husband of 51 years, preceded her in death in 2002.

Jean and Phil were known to many in Fairmont as the owners of CV News on Locust Avenue where they made many memories with friends and customers. After retiring, Jean said she missed the people every day but she did not miss making those hot dogs and sauce.

Jean was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and cherished her life-long friends, especially Marilyn Alvaro.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Jeanie Dotson, grandsons, Mike (Amy) and Phil, great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Maddex, Merric, Mccartney, Amarya, and Mia. Also surviving are her brothers, Ted and Marty Nagel. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and Sarah Dotson and Bea Dotson.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Joe Konikattil officiating.
