Jeanette M. Turner, 70, of Martinsburg, WV and formerly of Fairmont, WV transitioned from this life and received her wings on March 28, 2021 at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV. She was born August 14, 1950 in Fairmont to the late Talmage (Tab) Bryant and Eva Lacy Bryant Washington.
Jeanette attended Fairmont Senior High School and played clarinet in the band. She worked at Heck's Department Store for 15 years and retired from Sam's Club as a manager after 27 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (Fairmont, WV) as a child and recently renewed her membership and attended virtual services on Sunday mornings.
One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, amusement parks, and traveling with friends. After her retirement, she decided that she wanted to learn a second language. She became fluent in Spanish by practicing daily. She took pride in the fact that she reached her longest streak of 1,500 days without missing a single day of practice. She was very dedicated to everything she set her mind to do. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Bryant Walker of Bridgeport, WV and her nephew, Staff Sgt. John Leman Turner. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Philip (Tera) Bryant of Fairmont, WV, Andrew Bush of Marietta, OH, and Anthony Bush of Wilkes-Barre, PA; two daughters, Jenean (Erik) Deahl of Great Mills, MD, and Stacey Pierre-Louis of Inwood, WV; husband, David Turner of Martinsburg, WV; two nieces whom she loved as her daughters, Cynthia (Larry) Allen and Lacee Bryant, both of Clarksburg, WV; 15 grandchildren, Vanessa Bryant and Darnell Bryant, both of Fairmont, WV, Philip Bryant, Jr. of Seattle, WA, Jordyn Lofton of Morgantown, WV, Rakim Bush, Andre Bush, Adrianna Degbo and Aaron Bush, all of Muncie, IN, Andrew Rhone and Garrison Bush of Parkersburg, WV and Alyssa Rhone of Charleston, WV, John Deahl, Jadea Deahl, and Evan Deahl, all of Great Mills, MD, Sydnie Pierre-Louis of Inwood, WV; 13 great- grandchildren; and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
